What We Offer
From your first evaluation through ongoing care, every service is designed to be thorough, evidence-based, and genuinely centered on your wellbeing — not just symptom management.
Service 01
Your first appointment is a dedicated 60–90 minute evaluation — not a rushed intake. Dr. Perez takes the time to understand your history, symptoms, life context, and goals before drawing any conclusions or recommending any treatment.
The evaluation covers: psychiatric and medical history, family mental health history, current symptoms and their severity, substance use, social and environmental factors, and your own goals for treatment.
At the end, you'll receive a clear diagnosis (or differential), an honest explanation of your options, and a treatment plan you helped create — not one handed down to you.
Service 02
For patients who benefit from psychiatric medication, Dr. Perez provides thoughtful, collaborative medication management — not just script-writing. Each follow-up appointment is a real conversation about how you're doing, what's working, what isn't, and what adjustments make sense.
She prescribes across the full spectrum of psychiatric medications: antidepressants, anxiolytics, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, stimulants and non-stimulants for ADHD, sleep aids, and more. She stays current with the latest research and isn't locked into any one approach.
Service 03
Dr. Perez integrates evidence-based therapeutic techniques directly into her clinical care — not as a replacement for dedicated therapy, but as a complement to medication management and psychiatric oversight.
Her training includes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed modalities, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling. This means that your appointments aren't just about pills — they're about understanding yourself and developing tools to use between visits.
For patients who need more intensive therapy than she can provide within psychiatric visits, she will actively help coordinate with a therapist whose approach is compatible with her treatment plan.
Service 04
All services are available via secure HIPAA-compliant video. For patients in Bandon, Reedsport, Roseburg, Brookings, Grants Pass, and beyond — telehealth removes the most common barrier to consistent psychiatric care: the drive.
Telehealth appointments use the same platform as in-person visits and require nothing more than a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your local pharmacy.
Fees & Insurance
We believe financial barriers should never prevent someone from getting the psychiatric care they need. If cost is a concern, please ask — we will find a way to work with you.
